The Ministry of Health Kamuli Office and the Office of the Mayor has recognized Emerge Poverty Free in the UK for their dedication to support Villagers in different villages of Kamuli to access quality Maternal Health services as they also learn about Safe Motherhood.
The Area Hon. Member of Parliament has promised to push so that the Ugandan Movement can duplicate this model countrywide and he has also promised to advocate so that the Government takes on this program and directly funds the program by 2018.
This was yesterday during the passing of 45 Traditional Birth Attendants who have been undergoing training. URICT has asked the officials to dig deep into their pockets so that they can equip the Traditional Birth Attendants.
URICT is equally impressed by the results and its visible to see the reduction maternal deaths and more babies and mothers surviving. Thanks so much EPF and all our friends who believe in this project.
