Thanks everyone who had hand in starting this great Agriculture Project for helping children, grandmothers and their orphaned to get enough quality food and people in Kamuli district to learning organic farming.
URICT Uganda together with Nurses, Midwives and Uganda police have been training Safe Motherhood and Maternal Health in the bush villages of Namasagali- Kamuli district.
We are very grateful for Kamuli District- Uganda's Women and Babies health status. The death rate has reduced-- mothers during labor time and new borne babies.
We are so confident that by 31st Oct 2016 there will be a visible reduction in the number of women who die while giving birth and just like the number of babies who die during birth or shortly after birth.
Member of Parliament has promised to push so that the Ugandan Movement can duplicate this model countrywide and he has also promised to advocate so that the Government takes on this program and directly funds the program by 2018.
Recently we decided to supply Bio-sand Water Filters donated to us to households of grannies who are looking after their grand orphaned Children within the village. The grannies were trained on how to use them.
